Bena Roberts
Bena Roberts is the founder and chief analyst at BKI Media. She founded BKI Media after the successful sale of her own social networking start-up in 2006.
Bena has over twelve years of experience in the wireless industry. Prior to BKI Media, Bena was the senior analyst for the Wireless Services Europe Module at Current Analysis. She tracked wireless voice and data services. She was the usability and pricing expert for the team and masterminded the analysis of mobile portal services in Europe.
Bena also served as a Market Analyst at Sony Digital Technology and Communications in Munich, Germany. She entered the mobile market in the early 1990’s, when she held the position of International Marketing Manager at the Austrian private mobile phone operator, max.mobil (now T-Mobile Austria).
Bena is quoted frequently in the press and has been cited in publications such as Mobile Media, Mobile Entertainment, Red Herring, the Financial Times and the Sunday Times.
Bena received her BA in Media and Communications at Surrey and her Masters in Business & Economics from the International University of Economics in Budapest, Hungary.
Annie Turner: Partner & Chief Editor
Annie Turner has been a telecoms journalist since the 1980's and began her freelance career in May 1995. In that time, she has written about everything from the technology itself to economics and politics for publications including The Times, International Herald Tribune, Totaltelecom, Ability magazine, Telecoms Business and Wireless Business Review..
Prior to her freelance career, she edited Communicate magazine, part of The Economist Group, from October 1991 to April 1995. Previously, from 1989, she was group editor of Communications International and its sister publication, Communications, building on her editorship of the latter which she attained at just 26.
Annie has contributed to many publications on an ad hoc basis including The Financial Times, The [London] Evening Standard, The Director, Financial News, The European, The Observer, The Daily Telegraph, Computing, Computer Weekly, Retail Week, the British Retail Consortium’s magazine, Solutions.
She is delighted to be a partner in bki:media, as chief editor of the Mobile Search Analyst and of GoMoNews, with new products planned for early 2007.
Caroline Landsberger
Caroline Landsberger Vice President of Sales for BKI Media, was born in the
UK, but has lived and worked in Germany for the last 25 years.
She read German and Spanish at Manchester University in the UK and went on
to qualify in import and wholesale management at the Chamber of Commerce in
Bremen, Germany. She has a TEFL diploma specialising in teaching business
English
Caroline has more than 23 years of experience in international business both
procurement and sales in east and west Europe, and Asia.
